Machine translation is the future. The sooner you take advantage of the reality, the sooner you benefit.

The latest generation of translation machines (Neural Machine Translation NMT) meets decades of experience with artificial intelligence. The results are stunning! You can start leveraging the opportunities of NMT today. We will show you what to look for so that you get the most out of it.

The human quality factor.

Pure machine translation is not yet quite as mature as we would like it to be. But with a professional post-editing and the right processes you get the same level of quality as with a human translation.
But faster and cheaper.

Test with us to see how well your texts fit the machine.

We translate a test document from you with NMT.

On the basis of the result we analyse

  • how good your source texts are
  • how suitable your texts are for NMT
  • what you can improve
  • what savings you will achieve

You will receive compelling insights but are under no obligation to do anything further.

Let us lead you into the future.

We will work together to develop a model for how your texts and processes can be optimally adapted to machine translation. This way you get the most from this new technology.

Become a partner.

Leave your translation issues to our experienced team. We keep you constantly up to date with the latest developments and take full care of your texts, processes and workflows. So that you can take care of the important issues.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Neural Machine Translation (NMT) is the latest generation of translation machine. Unlike statistical (SMT) or rule-based (RBMT) translation machines, they are enriched with artificial intelligence and can thus access a much larger body of text: the World Wide Web. Translations generated in this way produce much more natural and fluid target texts. Together with professional post-editing, the results are high-quality texts in all language combinations covered by NMT.

Well suited:

  • Technical texts
  • Simplified Technical English (STE)
  • Instructions of all kinds
  • Economic and financial texts
  • Legal texts
  • Informational website texts

Not very suitable:

  • Advertising texts
  • Other creative texts

For these types of texts, we will be happy to make you an offer for a human translation.

Well suited:

  • Word (.docx)
  • PowerPoint (.pptx)
  • InDesign
  • .xml
  • .xlf
  • .txt

Of course, we can also find solutions for other file formats for you. Contact us for a personalised offer.

First and foremost, it is important that the formatting and segmentation of the texts is clean so that NMT translation recognises the correct sentence boundaries. We would be pleased to advise you in this respect.

You will receive your NMT translation about a third faster than a human translation.

Professionally trained native speakers with specialist experience take a close look at the translation engine’s output for you. Even though machine translation produces exciting, cutting-edge results, it is not perfect yet. Post editors eliminate content errors, adapt the texts to your business’s preferred style, clean up your terminology and ensure consistency of form and content.

We currently offers all combinations between English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Italian, Polish and Russian. Other languages will be available soon.

Regional language varieties (e.g. Swiss German, Brazilian Portuguese and Latin American Spanish) are taken into account in post-editing. We would be pleased to advise you in this respect.

No. Neither the source texts nor the translation get stored during a machine translation. Only a few metadata, which do not give any information about the customer or the content (e.g. number of translated characters), can be stored. For details on data protection, please refer to the General Terms and Conditions.

Yes. Your previously translated texts will be taken into account for billing purposes as well as for terminology and stylistics. If you have data from an existing translation memory, we can easily import it into our system. If you do not have one, we can create a new translation memory with a so-called alignment. Contact us for further details.

No. If your text contains tags, the translation provided by the translation engine will also contain the original tags at the most appropriate location in the target text. Post-editing ensures that the tags are placed correctly in the target text.
